Chris (or "CT" as he is known in APO circles) pledged APO in spring 1995 as part of the Bobby Hainline pledge class of the Eta Epsilon chapter at Millikin University.  He was recruited into the Section 48 Volunteer Staff a short time later.  During his time on staff, CT helped organize several successful mini-conferences and also worked to re-charter the Zeta Alpha chapter on the campus of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.  For his efforts, he was recognized with the Ellsworth S. Dobson Certificate of Merit.  In the spring of 2002, Chris was elected chair of Section 48.  During his tenure Section 48 was restructured into Sections 47, 50, and 51 and in 2003 Chris was elected as the first chair of Section 47.  Chris was recognized with Section Distinguished Service Keys (DSKs) for his service to both Sections 48 and 47.  In 2004, Chris passed the baton and moved on to advise the Lambda Rho chapter at Augustana College.  He served as conference advisor when the chapter hosted the Tri-Sectional Conference in 2005.  Chris was made an honorary member of Lambda Rho and was presented with a chapter DSK from the same in recognition of his contributions.

Chris took a hiatus from APO in 2007 and moved to the Dubuque, IA to start a family.  Now, 6 years later, Chris is thrilled to return to APO as an active volunteer.  He is doubly thrilled to be advising the Lambda Rho chapter again!  Chris is also an APO LEADS Launch presenter/director and has recently been certified as an APO LEADS observer.  Chris currently works in Davenport, IA where he remains active as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities.  He lives in De Witt, IA where he spends as much time as possible with his 4-year-old daughter, Kennedie.
